Allstate • The Renewal Project
The Renewal Project is a philanthropical branch of Allstate, designed to find, highlight and support people and organizations across the country that are trying to make a difference in their communities.
The Renewal Project had an opportunity to reach thousands of influential people at the Washington Ideas Forum, so we chose to get them directly involved.
We partnered with one of The Renewal Project's organizations, Dreaming Out Loud -
an organization that brings community gardens to food desserts across the D.C. area.
We created The Renewal Garden at the Washington Ideas Festival, and allowed visitors
to participate by planting a single seed.
Those thousands of seeds then got donated to a real Renewal Garden in a local D.C. community, where they will grow to help feed people in need.
